The UBC Debate Society is excited to welcome all people who love discussion, persuasion, and policy, as well as to welcome back our wonderful club members, at our annual Opening of the House.

Opening of the House will be hosted on campus at the Victoria Learning Theatre at Irving K. Barber Learning Centre. This is your best opportunity to mingle with seasoned competitive debaters, learn what debate can do for your personal, academic, and professional growth, and join our club to start traveling and competing in debate tournaments around the world. You can even catch our slightly over-the-top show debate at 7. Best of all, there will be free food!
